The 30% glycolic peel listed is of the buffered variety. It has a free acid content of 30%, with a buffered pH level of 2.1. Buffering raises the pH level of the acid so that it is not too strong. A higher pH level will slow-down the action of the acid. It can be left on longer than an unbuffered (professional) variety, and is thus safer. These peels are perfect for at-home usage. You MUST apply sunblock while using this product and for at least 1 month after you have completed its usage. more info

Works, takes a while though

It works, but I still break out, not as often though. But there weren’t ANY? signs of it working until a few weeks of using the product. Didn’t realize that my skin can handle strong stuff and should have gotten a more potent one.
