Essential for Skin Healing
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My parents used to sell vitamins and my dad has been taking Vitamin E for what seems like my entire lifetime. When I accidentally spilled a bowl of hot jello on my stomach as a child, I was worried I would have a lovely scar for life. Fortunately our local drug store in Africa sold a Vitamin E soaked gauze pad that you could keep over the burn and it completely healed and there is no scar.
So, I’ve looked for Vitamin E gauze in America and have not found any. So, I buy the Johnson and Johnson First Aid Gauze pads and if I burn myself on the rare occasion while cooking, I soak the pad with the Jason Vitamin E oil and have noticed great results in a short period of time. The Nexcare Gentle Paper First Aid tape also works well to hold the gauze in place. If you are allergic to band-aids, this is a lifesaver!
The JASON 32,000 I.U. Vitamin E Pure Beauty Oil has been a favorite for years because it has a little wand attached to the lid which makes application very easy, although you may not want to use the wand directly on the burn, just it allows the oil to drip off nicely
onto the site of application.
If you want to take healing a step further, try blending this product with lavender oil or the Derma E Calm oil formula. Vitamin E is one of the most potent antioxidant vitamins around and it is essential to skin. It helps with the utilization of oxygen in the tissues, prevents free radical damage and can also act as a natural preservative in cosmetics.
Other Uses:
Dry Skin
Burns
Dry Lips
Wrinkles
Damaged Skin
Scar Prevention

a gooey mess

I was very disappointed with this purchase. The consistency is awful–sort of like honey or molasses. And it takes forever to absorb into your skin. Not recommended.

Great for Your Skin
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
We’ve all heard about how good Vitamin E is for your skin. I’ve taken it in capsule form with little improvement to my complexion. But it seems that applying this oil directly to the skin improves its texture and color. I’ll cite a few of my personal examples.
I do a lot of baking, and inevitably burn my hands a few times a year. In 2008, I acquired an ugly burn on the back of my right hand, which never lightened. It was purple up until about two months ago, when I started putting Vitamin E oil on it. It’s since lightened to a pale tan color and its texture is that of normal skin. Last month, I burned my right index finger and immediately put vitamin E oil on the burn, then covered it with a gauze pad. The oven was 450 F when I got burned, and I was sure that I would have a nasty scar. I was incorrect. There was no scarring whatsoever and the burn healed in just a few days. I credit the Vitamin E oil because I missed a tiny portion of the burn when applying the oil, and it did not heal as quickly.

Organic and Pure Vitamin E. Well worth the money!!!!!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
What a great product. This is the purest form of Vitamin E that I have found at my local health food store. It is very concentrated and thick. Vitamin E has antioxidant properties. Vitamin E is supposed to accelerate healing. So if you ever got a paper cut or a mild burn, some sources say that vitamin E may heal it faster. This product also works good as a moisturizer. This is another awesome product by Jason.

I love love love this oil. Jason is one of the highest quality pure/organic brands and I adore this product.
Marilyn, I know you say the consistency is aweful, but that’s probably because it’s natural and doesn’t have any preservatives. I’m willing to sacrifice consistency to ensure that my body is toxin free
